Nelipak Healthcare Packaging to Showcase Innovative Contract Services for Custom Thermoformed Medical and Pharmaceutical Packaging at MD&M East

WHAT: Nelipak Healthcare Packaging will be exhibiting in booth #1634 at MD&M East. During the show, Nelipak will be discussing its design, development and manufacturing capabilities for cleanroom-produced medical trays, blisters, clamshells, procedure packs, handling trays and pharmaceutical packaging. Attendees can also learn more about Nelipak’s tray that recently won the prestigious Worldstar 2015 Award for its innovative design in thermoformed packaging. The company will have a designer on hand to demonstrate Nelipak’s freehand design capabilities.
The next-generation NX-T1 tabletop heat sealer will be on display in the booth. With a 60-year history in thermoformed healthcare packaging, Nelipak understands the importance that well-formed blisters and trays have during the sealing process to ensure that a solid sterile barrier is created and maintained over the life of the package.
Fashioned in stainless steel for ease of cleaning, the NX-T1 machine is easy to use, requires little maintenance, and is class 7 and 8 cleanroom-compatible. Several new features have been incorporated into the machine, including a sealing die with auto tray ejector and touch-button activation.
A new hood-opening feature also allows for ease of service access from the front of the unit. Pneumatic and electric components inside the machine are separated for ease of servicing. Full 360-degree access is possible with the hood removed for maintenance and validation work.
